Your membership will allow you to participate in our bi-weekly conference calls, listserve, discounts for professional conferences, networking events, members-only online resources, and other membership benefits. Each member of a law firm must join individually. If four or more lawyers from a law firm register, additional lawyers of the firm can join free of charge.

Membership Eligibility

a. Membership is open to immigration law firms and individual immigration attorneys actively engaged in the filing of immigration benefits on behalf of foreign national physicians and their employers.

b. Membership is open to immigration paralegals and related practitioners in the field, under the sponsorship of an immigration attorney, immigration firm, or related entity. Sponsorship means that an attorney from the respective employer is the primary Taskforce member.

c. Membership in AILA is not a requirement for Taskforce membership.

d. Membership is not available to government employees.

Membership Dues

a. IMG Taskforce fiscal year is from July 1 to June 30 of each year.

b. Dues are owed annually, before the start of the fiscal year, in accordance with the rates posted at https://www.imgtaskforce.org/BECOME-A-MEMBER.html. 

c. Dues are prorated to $300 if joining after January 1.

d. There are no refunds for dues once paid.

e. Membership is non-transferable.

f. FY2025 membership dues:

• Individual attorney: $500
• Attorney practicing at a nonprofit entity: $300
• Paralegal: $250
• Full-time law student: $100

Membership Benefits

a. Members may participate in bi-weekly zoom meetings, listserv, discounts for professional conferences, networking events, use of membership logo, members-only online resources, and other membership benefits. Each member of a law firm must join individually.

b. Access to membership benefits requires full payment of dues. Members in arrears will lose access to benefits.

c. Only paid members may access the benefits. Benefits do not extend to non-members at a member’s firm.
